ABOUT Dr Kruger
Born in Pretoria in 1983, Dr Andries Kruger started his schooling at Waterkloof House Prep School. He has always had a passion for music specifically piano and violin and has an intense love for sport. After primary school Dr Kruger attended St Andrew’s School in Bloemfontein up to grade 11 where after he completed his A-levels in England at Christ’s Hospital School from 2000 - 2002.
Dr Kruger started studying medicine at Stellenbosch University in 2003. After completing his MBChB degree in 2008, Dr Kruger went on to complete his internship in Bloemfontein from 2009-2010 followed by a year of community service in Cape Town.

Dr Kruger was drawn to surgery and enjoyed spending time in theatre. He spent time as a Medical Officer of Surgery in George in 2012 and 2013. Dr Kruger specialised in General Surgery obtaining his Fellowship of the College of Surgeons of South Africa: FCS(SA) at the University of Cape Town in 2018.
Dr Kruger’s private practice is based at Life St Georges Hospital in Port Elizabeth. He resides in Port Elizabeth with his wife Sulette, a physiotherapist he met while interning in Bloemfontein, and his 2 young children, Adam and Stella.
