Being a general surgeon Dr Kruger also has experience in emergency surgeries such as trauma injuries, skin and soft tissue infections, ulcer complications, gastrointestinal bleeding, bowel obstruction and abdominal sepsis (appendicitis and diverticulitis).

With his experience and surgical expertise Dr Kruger is well-equipped to handle all emergencies that requires an emergency laparotomy but also uses the minimally invasive laparoscopic (‘keyhole surgery’) approach when possible to minimise pain, recovery and scarring for his patients.
